Engineering
Project Manager
Aalborg
Denmark
Full-time
Do you thrive on carrying full responsibility for complex technical projects – from contract to handover? Do you get satisfaction from seeing a project land right – on time, at the right quality and at the right price? Then you may be the person we’re looking for.
You know what it takes to manage a technically complicated project with many interfaces. You’ve stood in the middle of it when things get difficult – and you keep your overview and your good humour. You are resilient, structured and a skilled communicator – with colleagues and customers alike. You thrive on responsibility and are not afraid to take the lead.
What will you be doing?
You will be the responsible project manager on one or more of our projects, working closely with engineers, technicians, sales and external partners. In practice, this means managing projects from start-up to handover – with responsibility for time, quality and budget. Coordinating technical interfaces and working with subcontractors and customers, as well as supporting the sales department and maintaining commercial oversight throughout the project.
The workplace is our head office in Aalborg – with 30–50 travel days a year.
Who are you?
You are a qualified marine engineer (maskinmester) or have an equivalent technical background, with more than 5 years’ experience as a project manager. You have solid experience in establishing energy plants or similarly complex technical installations, strong process understanding, and the ability to quickly form a full overview.
You are at home in MS Project and Dynamics Navision. You communicate clearly and precisely in Danish and English at a high level, and German is a plus.
What matters most is that you take ownership, work in a structured way and are a skilled communicator – internally and externally. You are passionate about the green transition and thrive in an innovative environment shaped by change. And it is important that you take ownership, work in a structured way and deliver – without losing your overview or your good humour when things get difficult.
What do we offer?
An exciting position in a flat, dynamic organisation with short decision paths and strong professional pride. You will have good opportunities for professional development through challenging and varied tasks in a pleasant, collegial working environment.
Salary and terms are negotiated according to qualifications and include an attractive pension scheme and health insurance, a canteen scheme, and an active staff association offering enjoyable events.

About aalborg hc systems
At aalborg hc systems, we design and deliver thermal systems for district heating networks in the Nordics, Germany and the rest of Europe. We help utilities and municipalities electrify and transform their heat supply – without compromising on security of supply or economy. It’s a specialised discipline that only a few companies in Europe master – and we’re proud of that.
We were formerly the low temperature division of Aalborg CSP and continue from 2026 as an independent company within the German Alois Müller Group. In Aalborg we are around 25 employees – and around 1,100 across the group.
