WHY IT MATTERS

One energy system serves two needs: cooling for a major hospital and heat for the local district heating network.

OUR IMPACT

The plant uses groundwater as a flexible energy source, allowing the system to provide cooling to Nyt Hospital Nordsjælland (NHN Hospital) while recovering and upgrading energy for district heating.

The solution combines three heat pump units with groundwater heat exchangers and a cooling storage tank, enabling flexible operation and efficient use of the available energy source.
